I'll be adding details as they come out in the comments:

Long Beach will be the Champ Car finale, run the same weekend as Motegi. Both will receive the same points. Not the best idea, but what are you gonna do?

A free engine and 2 free chassis for each former CC team, as well as the $1.2 million TEAM money.

TG: Everybody is excited to work with the CC teams to help with the transition.

0	Each CC team will be parterned with an IRL team to help with the transition. Examples given were N/H/L with RLR, and PKV with Ganassi. Intangible assets and intellectual property also acquired.

0	KK talking. This should be good. KK: Real winner is the fans. Basically said a lot of "let's all just get along."

0	Robin Miller asks if going to Long Beach is necessary to get the free stuff, and what kind of chassis will be given. TG says things are constrained due to time. Hope to provide 1 new and 1 used. KK expects full field of DP01's. All the CC teams say reception is very warm. Might see drivers coming from Motegi into a DP01 (yeah right).

0	Someone (I think Barnhart) saying that each team will have one car by Homestead. Could see another 8-12 cars starting at Homestead. Best case scenario.

0	Curt Cavin asks both TG and KK if they think it's worth it. Cavin said he would ask this. Can't believe he had the balls to do it now. KK says it's not the time to look back, but to look forward. TG accepts KK's answer as his.

0	Bruce Martin asked a question. Missed it cause I'm commenting on My Name is IRL while I'm doing this (people will read what I say there). TG says offseason is way too long (agreed!). 2009-10-11 has lots of great building blocks.

0	Question about future schedule. TG says foundation is solid. Avaibility exhausted to run on ovals. See a 20 race schedule potentially, approx. half and half oval to road. Probably change over time. Very important to have variety of ovals on schedule.

0	TG: Turbochargers may or may not be part of new formula coming in 2010. Ethanol may or may not be part either. Open wheel needs to be stabilized.

Question about deadline in finalizing 2008 schedule, and baseline for success.

TG: Needs to be sorted out quickly. Depends on how easy to deal with issues. No deadline set for it. Get through 2008 season, and make this story about the fans (whatever that means). Goal to bring everybody together. Happy fans means happy teams and sponsors. Trying to be sensitive to fans and make sure it's done right.

0	Oreo asks TG how long it will take the agreement to have an impact on attendance and the lack. TG: I have no idea. Hopefully something measurable. Hopes it'll be soon, but probably won't. It'll take time, but it starts now.

0	KK asked what happens with Cosworth and the Atlantic series. KK: Atlantics will continue with 12 race schedule. Cosworth's primary business is non-racing engines, so it will continue.

0	Asked about future of Canadian races (Toronto, Edmonton, Mont-Tremblant). TG: Toronto was discussed. Date conflict. Don't want to disenfranchise race with that much history. Edmonton was easier to address.

0	Barnhart asked if there's a limit on how many they can take. BB: Yes, due to equipment. Everyone helping out. Can't be more proud of team's responses. Four other projects for Dallara. Somewhat limited. No number put on that though.

As for Dallara and the whole chassis thing... how many chassis does an IndyCar team go through in a year? 14 new chassis by May sounds incredibly low to me.

It sucks, but neither could change their date. The unified series needs Long Beach, and needs Motegi to keep Honda happy. At least it's only temporary.

Right now, there are only around 60 Dallaras out there, so 14 in less than 4 months is actually pretty impressive. The teams just don't have that many spares.
