
Reportedly, Liverpool is ready to offer their star striker Andy Carroll for a cash-plus-player deal to Newcastle United. Reports suggest that Liverpool are moving in for the Newcastle United’s Senegal international Demba Ba.
The new Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers plans to revamp Reds attack before the start of the season. According to various media reports, Andy Carroll has objection in moving to his former club. Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew is also interested in re-signing the young England international.
If this transfer occurs Liverpool would pocket as much as £20 million along with Demba Ba for the 23-year-old they signed in for a British transfer fee record. Sources have revealed that Demba Ba has a £7 million release clause in his contract with Newcastle United.
Alan Pardew has an excess of the strikers at Newcastle United. Therefore, the young manager won’t mind losing his Demba Ba even though he played a pivotal role in Newcastle United’s fifth place finish in the English Premier League last season.
