Lloyd Band Boosters to start bingo fundraiser

The Lloyd Memorial High School Band Boosters are beginning a new fundraiser with twice-weekly bingo games at the Ludlow Bingo Hall. The games, which will begin on June 25, will be held Wednesday and Friday evenings. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with jitneys, or smaller stakes games, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Larger games will start around 7:30 p.m., and there is a guaranteed payout of $5,000 each night. The money raised from the bingo games will go into the general fund for the band, which helps to cover costs of uniforms, music and band trips. The Lloyd Band Booster Organization, based at Lloyd Memorial High School, in Erlanger, Kentucky, has existed for more than 30 years. It is a nonprofit group that supports the Lloyd Memorial High School Marching Band, Concert Band, and Color Guard.
