About Me:
I am currently a majoring in Music Business at SUNY Potsdam. Other than spending time in school I of course enjoy spending time on Faniq and watching NASCAR and the best team in baseball, the New York Yankees.
Yes...Yes!...and YES!!At least that's what some of the opinions are as NASCAR wraps up another race weekend and heads to Bristol this week.
You've heard the story. In short, Joe Gibbs Racing placed magnets under the throttle to make their two Nationwide Series Fords to make them appear that they are not achieving maximum power in a post-race dyno test because the pedal would not reach the floor. Rival. and Chevy owner Richard Childress has some strong words on the situation:

"Their (butt) needs to be kicked out of there. They're shiftless. They (NASCAR) just need to do something," Chevrolet team owner Richard Childress said of whoever tried to alter the test at JGR. "I'm surprised they got caught. When people get an advantage, they don't want to give it up and sometimes they go to extremes to keep from giving up an advantage, and that's just what they did."
Here is what Joe Gibbs has to say about the situation:
"If this alleged incident proves true, it goes against everything we stand for as an organization," said Joe Gibbs of Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) on Sunday afternoon. Earlier this weekend NASCAR Nationwide Series officials discovered devices on the two JGR entries that were put in place to manipulate the reading on the dynamometer that measures torque and RPM.
-Shawn Courchesne of Courant.com is among those that now begin to speculate that fast rising Joe Gibbs Racing superstar Joey Logano may not really be as good as advertised. Is it possible that he has been aided a bit too much this season? I don't know. Anybody have any opinions on this one??
In other news from the track this weekend at Michigan...
-Rookie David Ragan is well on his way to earning a spot in the Chase for the Cup with only 3 races remaining until the Chase begins.

-Hendrick Motorsports had a lousy weekend at Michigan. 17th (Jimmie Johnson) was the best that any of the four Hendrick drivers could manage on Sunday.
-Even though Carl Edwards swept the Nationwide and Sprint Cup race, he still had a HORRIBLE WEEKEND! Gotta stick those landings!
