London Fletcher claims Cleveland Browns security tased his bros
Cleveland police insist the incident was not that bad. They claim only three of Fletcher's relatives were arrested and tased.
Details are still sketchy regarding the London Fletcher family fight incident Sunday at Cleveland Browns Stadium. Numerous members of Fletcher's family claim to have been assaulted for rowdily supporting Fletcher and his Redskins, while decked out in full maroon and yellow.
Fletcher has since gone on record with an interview with the NFL Network, and lays the blame neither on his family, nor Browns fans -- but instead on Browns security. "The situation that led to (family members) being arrested was stadium security," Fletcher said. "One of the stadium security guys assaulted one of my family members. Instead of defusing the situation, he escalated the situation. It wasn’t the fans they had the altercation with in the stadium. It was Browns security, the stadium security."
Initial reports claimed that Fletcher's aunt, 57-year-old Yvette Huston, had suffered a heart attack during the melee. In fact, Ms. Huston had suffered a neck injury, and was rushed to Cleveland MetroHealth Medical Center. She has since been released, albeit in a neck brace.
Fletcher's sister Keair Hall told NewsNet 5, "They (Browns security) were choking my aunt. Choking her!"
NewsNet 5 reports that two of Fletcher's relatives, Hasaan Robinson and Douglas Robinson, were arrested over the scuffle and spent the evening in jail. Fletcher himself claims four of his relatives were arrested.
Details of the fracas are still uncertain, but there sure are a lot of user-submitted pictures and video of the incident -- including both photos posted with this article. Another fan on the spot purports to have video of the incident escalating, which can be seen below.
