But Lonnie Chisenhall is having a hell of a season, albeit in limited at bats, and had arguably the best game of the year from any player yesterday.
Chisenhall had 3 home runs, drove in 9 runs, and could have almost single-handedly beaten the Texas Rangers, who fell to Chisenhall's Indians 17-7 last night in Arlington.
He's now hitting .385 on the season, but hasn't had enough at bats yet to qualify for the league leaderboard. Perhaps the Indians should find a way to get this guy in the lineup a little more often, since he's hitting the cover off the ball.
How great of a game did he have? Well, according to USA Today:
That's pretty impressive. It's only the second 9-RBI game in Indians history.
In the 4-game series against the Rangers, Chisenhall went a combined 10 for 17, with 4 HR and 13 RBI. The Rangers are undoubtedly thrilled to see him leave.
