Angels Will Face The Rangers In A Double Header

The Angels are still in the playoff chase, no matter home much of a long shot they may be, but their unfortunate luckon Saturday didn't help matters.

The game scheduled between the Angels and the Rangers was cancelled and rescheduled for Sunday, giving the Angels a double-header on Sunday.

The good news it that Vernon Wells is back, after he hung back in California due to his son's emergency apendectomy, so they'll have some extra help.

A double-header will be tough, but not impossible. There is bad news though.

The Oakland As beat the Seattle Mariners 4-1, which sets the Angels 2 and 1/2 games back from clinching the second wildcard spot.

They have five games left, and two of them will take place on Sunday. Hopefully the Angels will have a blessed Sunday if they want to hold onto their playoff hopes.
