Mandatory Credit: Bob Donnan-USA TODAY SportsAs the trade deadline approaches, there are more and more rumors flying around and the latest is Kevin Garnett making his way to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Adrian Wojnarowski, of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that the trade could be KG for Eric Bledsoe and DeAndre Jordan.

First of all, there is a no-trade clause in Garnett's contract, so he'd have to agree to leave, which doesn't seem likely.

However, it was reported on 710 ESPN on Tuesday, that if the Boston Celtics' President of Basketball Operations, Danny Ainge, told KG it was what was best for the team, then he would do it.

Chris Paul is a big reason for this to work both ways. The Clippers want him to sign a new contract with them at the end of the season, which he has said he will, but hasn't yet. He, Chauncey Billups and Garnett are friends, so they are hoping that Paul being here, and the fact that Celtic owns a Malibu home, will persuade him to come to LA, and for Paul to stay.

Garnett would also be a huge asset to their championship run.

However, the Clippers would have to take a gamble, because they have held off on any talks about Bledsoe leaving since they aren't positive about Chris Paul's future.
