I Don't Even Think Manny Can Save The Dodgers Now
10/15/08

I'm not going to lie. It looks pretty bad for the Dodgers right now. They really shot themselves in the foot with some strange pitching changes on Monday night. And by "they" I mean "Joe Torre." Also bad is that it was the Dodgers true strength, their relief pitching, that failed in Game 4.
While Manny's been absolutely unstoppable in this series, and has been throughout the whole playoffs, he alone isn't enough for the Dodgers to pull out three wins in a row. By the way, anyone else think the Red Sox could've used Manny now? Yeah I think we all know the answer to that question.
Frankly, I think you can stick a fork in the Dodgers. Cole Hamels is on the mound tonight for the Phillies and he's been great all postseason. Meanwhile, going for the Dodgers is Chad Billingsley. You may remember Billingsley got absolutely shelled in Game 2 of this series, when he gave up 7 earned runs in 2 and 1/3 innings.
As of right now, 52% of FanIQ thinks the Dodgers will win this game. Apparently 52% of FanIQ also forgot to check out tonight's pitching matchup.
Feel free to chat it up here tonight or on the game page.
