Mandatory Credit: Jeff Curry-USA TODAY SportsLos Angeles Dodgers Yasiel Puig was arrested over the weekend for driving 110 MPH in a 70 MPH area. The arrest was for ‘reckless driving.’

On Monday, the Dodgers said in a statement that they are “very disappointed” with Puig’s behavior and that it “is a very serious issue to us.”

There have already been some concerns raised last season about Puig’s conduct on the field with his bat flipping, in the locker room with the media, and off the field with a similar arrest last spring... to name a few.

People have been concerned about if Puig has an attitude problem, and this won’t help him win any fans. However, it’s fair then to mention the good things he’s done during the offseason too.

Puig has joined Pau Gasol on trips to the Children’s Hospital and he even played ball with some local kids. He’s also posted videos of himself training hard on his Instagram.

This isn’t to say that reckless driving is okay, because it’s not, and Puig is lucky that he didn’t kill himself or someone else.
