Mandatory Credit: Debby Wong-USA TODAY SportsThe Los Angeles Dodgers were set to play against the New York Yankees on Tuesday, but the game was called off 30 minutes before the start.

There will now be a doubleheader on Wednesday with games at 1:05 and 7:05 EST, and the Yankees have changed their pitching plans as a result.

Originally, Hyun-Jin Ryu was going to pitch against Phil Hughes, but now he’ll pitch against Hiroki Kuroda in the early game. Chris Capuano will face Hughes in the night game.

Capuano has been on the DL with a strained left shoulder, but he’s expected to be ready to play.

So, call in sick, make some popcorn, and get ready to see an interleague rivalry that rarely happens, and hasn’t ever happened at Yankee Stadium for a regular season game.
