Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that the Lakers' backup big man Jordan Hill will be meeting with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday. The forward is a free-agent, and the Lakers will be hard-pressed to offer him more money than any team who really wants him.

Woj says:

"The Lakers can offer Hill a four-year deal worth nearly $17 million, but the Wolves – who are also pursuing free-agent guard Brandon Roy – have the ability to make a bigger offer... The Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat and Orlando Magic also have interest in Hill."

He also adds that the Lakers are strongly pursuing a trade involving Pau Gasol.

If the Lakers lose Hill, this will be one of the few talented bench spots that they'll need to fill.
