The forward played in six preseason games for the purple and gold, but cuts had to be made, and his 4pts in 13.4min weren’t good enough. His absence pares the Lakers’ roster down to 15 men.

While he was in China with the Lakers, Landry received a lot of applause from fans because he has played overseas there before. Since he played for the Shanghai Sharks previously, while he was there, Landry said to tell the management to sign him after he was done with the Lakers.

There’s always a chance that another NBA team could pick him up, but if not, it looks like he may be going back to the Sharks.
