For all of you that saw Saturday's Texas/Oklahoma game, it's hard to argue that Colt McCoy wasn't awesome. But don't tell that Lou Holtz.
"You're talking about one game. One damn game"
Last night on ESPN, during something called "The Final Verdict", Mark May and Holtz lined up to debate who was having the better season, Colt McCoy or Tim Tebow. May went with McCoy and won, followed by Lou Holtz going completely bonkers on Rece Davis.
What makes this especially great is that someone starts laughing on the set and in addition to that, you hear May in the background say "Are we doing this again?" Yes, Mark we are.
Holtz of course makes the airtight argument that McCoy sucked last year, which means nothing in this debate since it's about this year.
Anyway, as much of a goofball as Holtz is, combined with the fact that I'm unable to understand half the words that come out of his mouth, I still think he's awesome. He's like the crazy uncle of ESPN.
