Lou's Pep Talk took a brief hiatus last week and you could argue it took another tonight. Lou Holtz was having a good stretch as far as delivery is concerned over the past month, but tonight missed the mark as bad as a Rex Grossman post pass. Something about people missing the Cornhuskers, sexism and racism, it really didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. That said, it was the best pep talk Nebraska has heard all year.
Bill Callahan's wife ran off with the drummer long ago and now he's too busy game planning for Limas Sweed (who... shhhh... is out for the year).
Smart call by Lou on his team of choice, Nebraska can only get better from here, but bad delivery. Because of the newspaper trick, we'll give him a free pass and expect the best of year next Saturday.
