At the end of the IBF Super Middleweight title fight, Librado Andrade appeared to have knocked out Lucian Bute. Bute was out of if for a while, but referee Marlon Wright stopped the count, saying that Andrade had left the neutral corner, where he was supposed to wait during the count. Wright's 10-count evnded up lasting abuot 24 seconds, and by the time it was almost done, Bute made it back to his feet, and the fight ended, since there were only 2 seconds remaining.
Video replay (above) didn't show Andrade leaving the corner, but Wright insisted that he had, and that he told him repeatedly to get back in the corner, and that Adnrade wouldn't listen.
Boxing has had its fair share of controveries, and combined with the fact that there are more titles out there than anyone can keep track of, the sport is travelling down a dangerous path.
