Quickly finishing up with the National League West, here's what we know for sure. The San Francisco Giants are going to suck. Bad. As much as they'll enjoy having more room in the clubhouse, it's not going to immediately translate into more wins. Outside of SF, I wouldn't be surprised if any of the other four teams won the division. 1. Los Angeles Dodgers - The team is solid on all levels and now they've got one of the best in the dugout. Andrew Jones won't set the world on fire, but he won't flirt with the Mendoza line anymore. Andre Either, Russell Martin, James Loney and Matt Kemp are all young talents that give Torre plenty to work with. Pitching staff is sufficient. Prediction: 87-75
2. Arizona Diamondbacks - Great staff (Webb and Haren) but not sure they'll produce enough runs to compete with the Dodgers. Chris B. Young has got to up the batting average in leadoff. Big year from Conor Jackson, Mark Reynolds and Stephen Drew could push them over LA. Prediction: 86-76
3. Colorado Rockies - A lot to like about the lineup, obviously. A healthy Willy Taveras could do the same damage as Juan Pierre did for the Marlins in 2003. Tulo, Holliday and Hawpe are all comfortably under contract and should spread the ball comfortably across the outfield. Good team, but odds are against another lengthy run propelling them into the playoffs. Prediction: 84-78
4. San Diego Padres - Pitching staff remains strong, batting order remains not strong enough. Prediction: 80-82
5. San Francisco Giants - A whole lot of suck. Prediction: 62-100
