MLB Sunday Night Opener: Washington Nationals vs Atlanta Braves

Introducing Nationals Park. From initial pictures it doesn't look all that different than some of the newer parks, but from most accounts it sounds pretty sweet. I've got some family with season tickets so I'll let them be the judge.

I'm confused -- when exactly is MLB's opening day/night? I've settled on 'whenever your team plays.' So for me it's tomorrow, but I'm still looking forward to a little baseball.

What's not good -- subjecting yourself to Billy Packer AND Joe Morgan in the same day.

Time to change your lingo from picks and screen to balls and strikes. If you're watching the game, chat it up here. We'll of course have a full day thread up for tomorrow.

All I want is to see what the National's new park looks like.  Opening Day has become a lot harder to define, but I agree with the whenever your team plays sentiment.  After spending Friday night/all day Saturday at Miller Park, I can't wait for some baseball.

Today is, of course, my opening day.  But I think tomorrow is officially opening day in baseball.

 

I think playing one game just to open a new park a day before everyone else is stupid.  But I'm glad I get to see the Braves at least.

Yeah it's not Opening Day until a majority of the teams play and it's actually during the DAY.
