Fresh off completing the 2007 campaign where Cleveland had a four game series with Seattle completely wiped out due to snow. Where Cleveland wasn't able to make up any of the four home games, with three played in Milwaukee and one home game played in Seattle, Major League Baseball has decided to fulfill their legacy as geniuses by having Cleveland open the 2008 season at home on March 31st.
I'm sure the Indians love getting opening day at home, but maybe, just maybe, we shouldn't have March baseball in Cleveland. Heck, maybe we shouldn't have March baseball at all. Then again we might have November baseball this year too.
