Hello out there in FanIQ Land!  It's Thursday, the weekend is almost here!  24 of the 30 teams are in action this afternoon and tonight.  Interleague play is over, and it's the final rush towards the all-star break.  We're having a pool party tonight, and it's also your official MLB live thread for today.  Bring something good, and as long as you come with food or a beverage, we promise not to throw you in with your clothes on.  The beer is much cheaper here than at the stadium, so sit back and enjoy.  Here's tonight's lineup...

Pittsburgh Pirates @ Philadelphia Phillies: 7:05 PM ET (ROOT Pittsburgh, CSN Philadelphia)

This is your official live thread and your place to come talk (or bitch) by the pool about your team(s) and the game(s) you're watching tonight.  Kramer has to work late all week, so your QTWIB host is putting this thread up, but won't be here to join in the fun.  I just have one rule for the Q Pool Party...we don't swim in your toilet, so please don't pee in our pool!

Let's get this party started!

Andrew McCutchen is continuing to make his case to start in the all-star game tonight.  He's got 2 more runs, a homer, 2 RBIs, and he just made one hell of a catch for a Web Gem in the bottom of the 8th.

And who would have thought, the homer came from Dewayne Wise!?!

The Yankees have homered, which means they are now eligible to win the game.
