Making Up News...Just a Day in the Life of the WWL
by Pat
1/8/08

Apparently, the idea of the Jacksonville Jaguars matching up against the New England Patriots on Saturday simply isn't enough. In an effort to provide some sort of storyline beyond the game, the self-proclaimed Worldwide Leader in Sports has injected an OLD twist.

"Do like the NCAA and kick them out of the playoffs or something. Put them on probation; they can't go to no playoff games. Roger Goodell has definitely enforced some new rules. He's been hard on players. Now let's see how hard he's going to be with a team."

Apparently, Jaguars DL Paul Spicer's reaction to SpyGate (back in September, mind you) is suddenly bulletin board material to the Patriots.

If I'm Bill Belichick, I'm ignoring this. Spicer (pictured, doing the wave behind everyone's favorite QB) is standing by his own comments, like any grown man should do. So what if his comments are completely idiotic and senseless.

I'm sure that at this point, he really does wish that Goodell kicked the Pats out of the playoffs.

Hahaha...thanks. I put a bit of thought into that one. And once I came up with it, I had to pull an ESPN and just write a blog or two. Not because I thought it was especially newsworthy...I just wanted to get my name out there.
