Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has lined up two more bids before the transfer window closes this summer. Manchester United officials have also confirmed that Sir Alex Ferguson is targeting players from Fulham and Everton.

Manchester United have decided to buff up their midfield by signing in the Fulham’s young Belgian midfielder Moussa Dembele. The 25-year-old played exceptionally for Fulham last season after being deployed in the midfield instead of the attack.

Sir Alex Ferguson has always been interested in bringing versatile players to Old Trafford. Given that Moussa Dembele is talented in the midfield department and has experience playing in the English Premier League, Sir Alex Ferguson has most probably labelled him as an important transfer target.

Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also showing interest in signing Moussa Dembele. However, none of these clubs have come forth with a bid yet. Fulham has already put a £15 million price tag on Moussa Dembele.

Sources have revealed that Manchester United believes Fulham is asking too much for the Belgium international. Nonetheless, the two clubs are sitting at the table negotiating a final transfer contract for Moussa Dembele.

At the Blue part of the Merseyside, Everton left back Leighton Baines is the centre of all the attention. The 27-year-old England international has been a Manchester United transfer target for over a year now.

Sir Ale Ferguson sees Leighton Baines as the long term replacement for Manchester United skipper and left back Patrice Evra. The Frenchman is finally showing signs of aging. Although, Patrice Evra played in nearly all games for Manchester United last season, the 31-year-old was visibly slower and comparatively physically vulnerable.

Sir Ale Ferguson wants to sign in Leighton Baines for £8 million, but Everton will not agree to such transfer fees. Although, Everton is facing a financial crisis club manager David Scott Moyes will not let Leighton Baines leave for less than £12 million.

Following a sixth place finish on the English Premier League table, Everton is slowly trying to enter the upper echelons of English football. The journey will be a tough one which is why David Scott Moyes is strictly against Leighton Baines’ transfer.

Nonetheless, Sir Alex Ferguson shouldn’t face a lot of problem in bringing Leighton Baines to Old Trafford. The Manchester United manager is ready to handover a couple of extra bucks to acquire Leighton Baines.
