Manchester United have shown interest in acquiring the services of Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Lars Bender. The young German has been recording phenomenal form in Bundesliga this season.
The 23-year-old broke into Bayer Leverkusen’s first team last year. Since then Lars Bender has been one of Bayer Leverkusen’s best players in the squad. Lars Bender’s impressive form also earned him a call-up from Germany.
The coach of the German national team, Joachim Low has mouthed a lot of praise about Lars Bender in the past. It looks like we will be seeing more of him in a German jersey in the future.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson set his eyes on Lars Bender as soon as he started to feature in the first team. Reports from England suggest that Manchester United will arrive in the transfer market with a bid for Lars Bender this fall.
