Don't worry, we won't be posting every baseball highlight but it's rare you get to do this first thing in the morning. And since DirectTV was unable to show the game, some of you may want to see some baseball.
Is it too early to second guess the A's late game decisions? No. Athletics Nation is already in midseason form. You have to wonder why Street would intentionally walk (and he hardly even pulled that off) Ortiz who seemed off all day/morning/night and attack Manny Ramirez who was dialed in. Easy to say that now, but the double (nearly home run) driving in 2 runs was the difference.
Jonathan Papelbon was a little (OK, a lot) shaky in the bottom of the 10t, allowing one run but he'll still get the 1st save of the season.
Alright, now I'm ready for the actual opening day.
