Manu Ginobili Out 3-4 Weeks
The injury bug has bitten the San Antonio Spurs hard this year and it refuses to let go. The next victim on its list was Manu Ginobili. The 36-year-old came drove down the lane for a ferocious dunk against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday, but injured his hamstring without any contact from anyone.
The 36-year-old will now miss 3-4 weeks, which the Spurs cannot afford with Danny Green, Tiago Splitter, and Kawhi Leonard already shelved.
In fact, the Spurs are so decimated, they started Othyus Jeffers on Wednesday night’s loss to the Bulls with off a 10-day contract.
The Spurs will go on their annual rodeo road trip this Monday, so they will need some of their injured players to return during this 10-game trip if they are going to remain in the upper echelons of the Western Conference.
