Is there any debate? OK, MLB Opening Day is outstanding (but not when it snows as scheduled here in Chicago), as is NFL/NCAA, but if forced to single out one of these it's got to be the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. Since 4th or 5th grade I had the good fortune of my dad always writing a doctor's note on this day "... will be leaving for an appt at 12:00. Unfortunately, he will not be returning the rest of the day. Tomorrow he has another appt in the afternoon. Thanks."
Cheesy as it may be, watching One Shining Moment's never get old. Above, of course, is my favorite. This year the best I can hope for is that the Spartans at least make an appearance in the video.
