Marcus Lattimore Signs With South Carolina After Duping Auburn

Marcus Lattimore Already Pulled Off One Pretty Sweet Juke, And His College Career Hasn't Even Started

5-star RB recruit Marcus Lattimore has already juked Auburn right out of their shoes, with his tricky announcement. It turns out that he'll be heading to South Carolina... but he had former Auburn RB Stephen Davis help him out with the presentation, and he pulled the SC cap out from under the Auburn one.

Nicely done... now let's hope Signing Day isn't the only thing we remember him for.

Pulling the 'cap game' is lame and played out.  Prima donna behavior, good luck with that.

Why is he a dick 'bleed? For years South Carolina has watched our "blue chip" prospects go to larger/other schools, perform well and go on to the NFL which in turn does that university a favor in their recruiting process. We finally got one of our OWN! Not many times will a state get the top prospect in the country to commit to their state university. Unless you are from Fla and Southern California (just to name two). Hopefully, if USC (thats Univ. of South Carolina) has a good season (no more than 3 or 4 losses) ends up in a respectable bowl (I wont claim major in his first season)  and wins it convincingly we will get more of our "home" state players to play at USC (or Clemson). Go Cocks!

He's a "dick" b/c he should have just pulled out the SC hat in the first place. No reason to pull that kind of garbage. I think it's funny but you have to realize it's a dick head move.

Chad Ocho Cinco approves.  Nothing like  a little shameless self-focused hypery, but I have seen the kid play he should get some snaps right away and yes the Auburn fans will likely have a little something for him.

I actually REALLY hate these signing day press conferences.

I have to admit that I don't watch many of these announcements, but that was the best one I've ever seen.  Also, I can't wait until South Carolina visits Auburn.  I'm guessing not many of their fans were all too appreciative of this.
