Marian Gaborik Scores 5 Goals, Dominik Hasek Can't Stop Him This Time
12/21/07

Two hockey posts in one morning? What's gotten into the blog?

If it wasn't for Sidney Crosby's first fight and Gordie Howe hat trick, Marian Gaborik would have been the story of the night. OK, maybe he was anyway because that's kind of a lot of goals. Wow.

I think Gaborik is just happy he's in a highlight that doesn't involved him being tossed 10 feet by Dominik Hasek.

I was there last night, and when he scored his third goal five minutes into the SECOND period, hats flew on the ice...after the fourth(and fifth!) goals, it was bedlam!!  To score five(and assist on the sixth) was unbelieveable!!  I'll never forget it...thank goodness, I don't need a voice to type, because I won't be talking much for a few days!!  Way to go, Gabby!!

The atmosphere looked insane there, but im glad to hear the opinion of someone who was there. And the irony of him scoring 5 on Hasek who sent him flying a few weeks ago is just toooooooo sweet.
