If there's one thing we've learned about Bobby Petrino, it's that he's incredibly loyal. Within days after taking the Atlanta Falcons job, Petrino signed former Louisville Cardinal Chris Redman. Now he's strongly considering two below average quarterbacks to fill Michael Vick's void. Why? Only explanation could be his close ties to both.
First, there's Mark Brunell. Who on earth would want Bunny right now? Naturally Petrino, who worked closely with Mark back when he was an effective quarterback with the Jaguars. That was a long time ago. Don't do it Bobby.
The second quarterback of interest is Chris Simms. Why? Well Bobby has a very close relationship with the Simms family, recently recruiting Chris' younger brother Matt to Louisville.
There's nothing wrong with being this loyal ... unless of course it makes your football team worse. Certainly Bobby Petrino can do better than these two, right? Help him out in the comments.
