Mark Sanchez's performance against the Ravens on Monday night was pretty damn ugly, but not nearly as ugly as he was as a kid. Just look at this picture that the Jets put up of him at their recent rookie talent show.


Those glasses are as big as manhole covers, for crying out loud.

Damn. At least one of us elementary coke-bottle glasses nerds turned out alright in the looks department. Too bad we can't all be so lucky.

Yes, and he had club feet or something. Which, ironically, he still has.

Looks like a milk box picture of a missing kid..with the picture on the right being the generated "what they may look like now" pic...either way, if that was my kid on the left and he was missing, I wouldn't look too hard to find him...

I'm not convinced he'll be good, but Sanchez seems like someone who could laugh at himself.  I'm impressed with his leadership qualities so far.

ok!  here goes a few
1.)  when he was done with those glasses the lenses were used on the hubble space telescope.
2.) looks like harry potter with bifocals
3.) he knows what that image on mars really was.
4.) if used to start a fire, those lenses could melt iron.
