Blog Photo - Maryland Football: Terrapins' Four QBs Are out for SeasonThis is not a joke: Maryland has lost its fourth quarterback of the season and will have to convert another position player to start under center for the remainder of the year.

True freshman Caleb Rowe, the team's final scholarship QB, tore his ACL in the fourth quarter in the team's 20-17 loss to Boston College last Saturday.

Coach Randy Edsall has lost three signal callers in the last two weeks and one just days before the regular season began — three resulting in ACL injuries.

Either linebacker Shawn Petty or tight end Brian McMahon is expected to start at quarterback for the Terrapins this weekend against Georgia Tech.

Maryland has drastically improved from last season, but that will likely go unnoticed due to these extremely unfortunate and bizarre series of events.
