Matthew Tryson Bryant died on Wednesday, September 24. His funeral was Saturday. On Sunday, his father Matt Bryant kicked 3 field goals and 3 extra points, making the difference in a 30-21 win over the Packers. After each kick, Bryant blew a kiss towards the sky, in honor of his son.
The kicker is one position in the NFL that may requires more mental focus than any other. At a time when that was probably imopssible, Bryant performed flawlessly.
