Matt Kemp is doing everything in his power to make sure that the Dodgers make the post season, and proved it with his two home runs that gave the Dodgers a win the other day. They are now two games back, and have four games to play. The Dodgers close out their season at home against the San Francisco Giants.

The Cardinals will also close out their season at home, against Cincinnati.

Kemp, who has been trying to hard to make up for his season of being injured, said:

''Right now we have to find a way to sneak into those playoffs. We're both going to be playing good teams next week, so it's going to come down to the end. We've just got to keep going out there and playing hard and see where we end up.''

It's all up to the Dodgers batting. though. If they can hit the ball, or at least a couple of their sluggers like Kemp, Ethier and Victorino, then the Dodgers have a chance.

Their pitching hasn't been the greatest thing ever, but it certainly isn't as bad as their offense has been.

The main problem is that no matter how good the Dodgers play, the don't control their destiny and need the Cardinals still have to lose to the Reds.

So, LA's playoff hopes are still alive, no matter how small they may be.

If you include the Angels, all of the Los Angeles and Anaheim areas are holding their breath right now.
