That should cover the costs of diapers, food ... and a small country. Apparently, Matt Leinart isn't quite the baby daddy Brynn had hoped.

TMZ has learned that the NFL pretty boy is locked in a raging legal fight with his ex-girlfriend, Brynn Cameron, over the couple's 9-month-old son Cole. According to sources close to the case, Brynn wants Matt to hand over more than $30,000 per month! That's a ton of jack for a 21-year-old living with her parents! According to sources close to the case, Leinart's pissed -- having already bought her a car, as well as voluntarily giving her around six grand a month. Leinart signed a six-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals in 2006 -- reportedly worth around $51 million.We're told Leinart's also waging a "gung-ho" battle for custody, and recently filed a petition to establish paternity. Sources tell TMZ that the former USC star already "comes back to L.A. once a week, every week, to see the baby," but he wants a schedule where he can see the kid in Arizona as well. Unlike most pro athlete dads who have kids out of wedlock, we're told Matt is an engaged father who wants to be in his son's life.

I'd be speaking outside my bounds if I attempted to determine what's appropriate in this situation, but I'm thinking 30 grand a month is a little much. Personally, I think Matt's gone downhill ever since leaving Cameron.

I agree on both points. No way she gets an amount like that from him because it's ridiculous, and Matt could do himself some good by getting back together with her. Not too shabby.

Ulracher is fighting about his and he pays more just a few grand a month. And I can see Ulracher paying close to 5k but 30k is CRAZY

Gold digger or not, she seems like a bitter woman for the fact that Leinart's not with her anymore. Sometimes, it's more about what you can't have (Leinart) than what you can (money).

This just further supports my idea to have a law against stupidity and common sense. If you do something so stupid people lyou should go to jail for a good year to get an education from a class called... Logic.

What is this, Golddiggers Gone Wild? I mean seriously, he went out of his way to provide for the kid AND her (that car wasn't some used hoopdie, people). I think she is bitter about him leaving (which is probably how he ended up with a kid in the first place), so hopefully the judge will see through the BS and at least make things fair (and that includes Matt having rights to see the kid in Phx).

someones been smoking to much! 30g a month, jeeze whats the baby eating soild gold? does it need money nappies? theres no way you would spend 30g a month on one baby, if this goes to court then i can see it being thrown out in the first hour, sometimes i wish i was a judge and send people to jail for being this stupid

Good point. I'm not sure the exact numbers, but I have heard that it costs about 180K to raise a child from birth, to when they hit 18. If that's anywhere NEAR accurate, then this chick is out of her mind.

What does that have to do with anything? He already said he wants to help with the kid. I'm sure it doesn't take $30 grand to raise a kid even if you are in the WNBA.

Lol it was a bash on the WNBA. Not the time to raise a kid. It was more toward the small contracts and small overall money flow in the WNBA as compared to the NFL. Just a joke.
