Matthew Stafford Football Skeet Shooting On Jimmy Fallon Show
Matthew Stafford Has Finally Proven He Is Worthy Of The #1 Pick

I haven't really been the biggest Matt Stafford fan, and I have always said the Lions would be crazy to take him with the #1 overall pick. After seeing this performance of "football skeet shooting" on the Late Night show with Jimmy Fallon, I'm a believer.

Stafford went 3 for 4 on the plates that Fallon threw up, and was ridiculously close on his only miss. Nicely done, Matt. You've convinced me.

He should have drilled Fallon with the football.

that is actually pretty darn impressive. I can do the same thing with the side of a house. I hit 3 out of 4 times.

That was nice.  I heard him in an interview call himself a "college kid" yesterday.  It wouldn't make me want to give him millions of dollars to turn the Lions around.  He feels like a bust waiting to happen, but who knows.

But if he had would it have come close to topping this?

Wow that is pretty impressive.  Just about as relevant as the t-shirts and shorts workouts, but still pretty impressive to have that kind of accuracy and that kind of reaction time.  Can he do it in the pros?  We will have to wait, but Detroit looks like his home for the next 5-6+ years.

They'll have this at the NFL Combine next year, guaranteed.

I could only hope, that would definitely increase my interest from 0% to the 2-3% range.

Also on next year's schedule, the drunken cone drill!
