Fortunately to the Jacksonville Jaguars Fred Taylor is having a solid, healthy season. Taylor picked up his third straight 100 yard rushing game today against Carolina, scoring on an 80-yarder in the process. This is all great news for Jags fan, very bad news for Maurice Jones-Drew fantasy owners.

In ESPN fantasy leagues, MJD averaged out to be the 15th selected running back. Fred Taylor? 31st. Jones-Drew is still having the better fantasy season, but I think we can all agree his numbers would be top 5 with the usual Fred Taylor injury.

With his 132 rushing yards today, Taylor passed Eddie George and Tiki Barber on the all-time rushing list and now ranks 18th all time.

Jaguars 37, Panthers 6

0	If Fred Taylor plays a couple more years he could get into the top 10 for career rushing yards, but would he really be a HOFer? He's always been a good player, sometimes great, but I've never thought of him as a HOFer.

That's a tough one. He seems to fall into the Tiki Barber category, as well. Definitely one of the better backs in the league year in and year out ... for a couple years there he was top three or four. If didn't have any injury problems, he might have HOF numbers.
