Meineke Car Care Bowl Preview

I really thought Boston College (9-3) would turn to the man they'll be facing today for there next head coach. Instead, they might be regretting they hadn't a full season early. Paul Johnson will lead the Naval Academy (9-3) against Golden Eagles interim coach "Spaz".

If you enjoy a well executed wishbone/option attack (as you should!) then Navy is your team. The Midshipmen lead the nation in rushing yards per game with over 327. Now the question remains whether they're able to sustain a ground attack against a more than capable big time defense. That remains to be seen.

Another factor in doubt, is whether the Golden Eagles will play with enough emotion and energy now that Tom O'Brien left to direct NC State. Talent-wise this game is a huge mismatch. But so was Kentucky-Clemson. Bowl games to the team who plays the hardest and most disciplined and that's Navy football in a nutshell. Should be a great game to start the day, although Texas Tech-Minnesota is a tough act to follow.
