Amidst the speculations surrounding soon-to-be free agent superstars, Melo nipped all speculations in the bud Wednesday, by saying that his intention was to remain in the city of New York when he becomes a free agent next season.

"I'm not going nowhere," Anthony said. "That is one of the reasons why I wanted to come here to New York, just so I could take on those pressures and those challenges. A lot of people do not like to deal with the pressure. A lot of people do not know how to deal with the challenges they face. To me, it is everyday life.''

The Knicks have made the playoffs every year, since the arrival of Carmelo Anthony, but they have yet to advance past the second round of the playoffs. In fact, Melo has rarely made it passed the second round of the playoffs throughout his entire career. So, while he is adamant about staying in New York, will New York still want Melo if the Knicks lose in the first or second round of the playoffs yet again this year?
