courtesy of Sean Engelhardt, and shows just how bad the Mets' injury issues have been this year. Green means healthy, and of course the red parts show when a player missed time due to injury. You can click on the chart to see it in full size, but I think the message is conveyed pretty well in the smaller size as well, since you get an idea of just how many red lines there are.
The worst part for the Mets is that their injuries have been to their key players. Not just one, but nearly all of them. Johan Santana, Jose Reyes, David Wright, Carlos Beltran and Carlos Delgado could make up about half of an All Star lineup, and they've all been hurt for the Mets this year and missed significant time.
Of course, you didn't need a chart to tell you that the Mets have been injury-plagued this year. But it's crazy to actually see it spelled out like this.
