Metta World Peace getting left knee surgery
Metta World Peace will be getting Orthokine surgery on his left knee on October 6th. This is the same surgery that Kobe Bryant popularized a few years ago when he flew out to Germany during the summer. According to reports, World Peace had his knee drained five times since training camp, so unless something was done about it now, World Peace would continue to have issues throughout the season.
The good news is that World Peace will not have to fly out to Germany for the surgery, since he will be able to receive it in New York City. The bad news is that it will cost World Peace a few games. The timetable is uncertain at this point, but he will miss a few games at the very least.
