The Los Angeles Lakers seem to be on the receiving end of quite a few of the NBA's weird decisions in the last couple of years, and this is up there with them.
Metta World Peace was suspended by the NBA only six hours before they were set to play the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday.
The Forward punched Detroit Piston Brandon Knight on their Sunday game, but instead of taking action immediately, the league waited three days, and brought the punishment down literally hours before they were set to play.
It's so odd, and doesn't look good on the NBA.
At the time he was given a flagrant foul for a small uppercut to Knight, but that still doesn't explain why they waited so long.
Hopefully that will come out in a few days as well.
The Lakers will play their game agaisnt a strong Nets team without both Metta and Dwight Howard.
