Mandatory Credit: Kirby Lee-USA TODAY SportsYou can always count on Metta World Peace to say exactly what he thinks, and that’s why people love him. It's definitely not for his analytical skills.

The forward was asked what team he thought would win in the NBA's western conference next season, and he said:

"I think the Lakers are going to the NBA Finals. I think Kobe's gonna be healthy. They're gonna get Pau. The Lakers are gonna make a big trade like they always do. They're gonna get another good player, boom, boom and they're gonna go to the Finals.  I believe it. Kobe's gonna come back, he's gonna play team ball, and Pau's gonna play well."

MWP made it really clear at the end of last season that he wanted to stay in Los Angeles, but the team had to amnesty him because of their salary cap issues.

New York was his next choice since the NBA vet is from there, and the Knicks picked him up.

You have to love Metta because, even if he thinks another team is going to win, he’ll still play his heart out for his team.

So, he said the Lakers will make the Finals? That doesn't mean he thinks his Knicks can't too.
