Michael Beasley is only going to be around the college game for 1 season, but it's likely he'll leave his mark in NCAA record books. It took him just 31 minutes in his Kansas State debut Friday night to get started.

His line: 32 points, 24 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 blocked shot and 2 steals.

The 24 rebounds broke Kevin Durant's Big XII record for rebounds in a game. Expect the Durant-Beasley comparison is grow all season long and expect to see plenty of Beasley on Monday nights this winter.

So how did the freshman follow up his debut? 30 more points and 14 rebounds Sunday afternoon against Pittsburg State.
