You remember the Michael Vick Chew Toy news from earlier this week. The brilliant marketing idea to capitalize on the Ron Mexico's latest controversy. Well, turns out it wasn't entirely brilliant. Yet.
If you visit VickDogChewToy.com again you'll notice a few changes, namely that the toy has changed jersey and also doesn't resemble #7 quite as much as the first. You see, the NFL owns just about everything that even resembles an NFL property.
They've also bumped up the price from $7.99 to $10.99, presumably to help pay for an inevitable lawsuit from the NFL.
You don't think they will? Consider this is the league that tried to own The Big Game from Stanford and California. They're inexorable. Make sure to get this item while you can, you're dog will have far more fun chasing #7 around the living room than the Minnesota Vikings.
