Take the Poll

Q
Would you be upset?
Yes
No
Indifferent
If you are a Michigan football fan like I am, you should be outraged.  ESPN/ABC has decided to put this weeks game vs Ball State on ESPNU.  So instead of watching Michigan, I have to sit infront of my computer watching gametracker from CSTV instead.

I know this is all a plot to get people here in Michigan to purchase ESPNU from their cable and satellite providers, but give me a break.  Instead of watching Michigan vs. Ball State, they are deciding to air Northwestern vs. Iowa, two teams no one  even care to watch here in Michigan.   In the midst of an undefeated season with National Championship contention and ABC decided to pull this.  Granted, I know it is only Ball St. and Michigan will win, but there are loyal fans here who are now not able to watch their school play football.

Michigan State fans should also be upset, because ABC has also decided to do this to the Spartans, although I don't know who would want to watch that trainwreck.

ABC has sunk to a new low in my opinion.

Also everyone thought Michigan would blow them out anyway. Why would they want to air a game that was almost a positive that Michigan would end up winning by 20+?

cstv kicks butt! I never knew about that site until reading this. Too bad you have to be a Windows user to see the games.

Just business.

True, they put Ohio State/Indiana on ESPNU 2 weeks ago so no one in Columbus could watch the game without it.

luckily i have DTV ... but if i didn't i wouldn't be upset. There are about 40 better games today than these two.

Most of all, I understand why MSU-Purdue isn't televised. Purdue is bad, State is even worse.

They still should have at least made these ESPN+ local games in detroit, etc.
