Michigan RB Fitzgerald Toussaint Arrested, Suspended Indefinitely
Coach Brady Hoke did the right thing by suspending him indefinitely, although it is unclear at this point whether or not he will miss any games. But if he does, he'll miss the season-opener against defending national champion Alabama.
That would be a huge blow to the team, who relies on Toussaint for a large part of the running game. The senior rushed for 1,041 yards and nine touchdowns last season, while averaging over 135 yards per game throughout the final six games.
Hoke, who referred Toussaint's DUI as a "poor decision," would likely have to resort to 5-foot-6 backup tailback Vincent Smith if needed.
