Mike Miller has officially joined the Memphis Grizzlies
According to Marc Stein of ESPN, Mike Miller is returning to the team that first drafted him, the Memphis Grizzlies. After the Grizzlies dreadful shooting performance against the San Antonio Spurs, the Grizzlies desperately needed some outside shooting. With the departure of Rudy Gay, the Grizzlies didn’t have an inside-outside punch. They only had the inside punch with Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol, which is the reason why the San Antonio Spurs double down on them so hard.
Since, Miller was amnestied by the Miami Heat, the Grizzlies will likely pay Miller the league minimum, while the Heat pick up the rest of Miller’s tab somewhere in the region of $6 million.
