Mike Singletary has a promising coaching career ahead of him. He hasn't yet joined the elite group of ranting coaches, like Jim Mora, Herm Edwards, Dennis Green or Mike Gundy, but he's well on his way.
Singletary had Vernon Davis sit out the end of the 49ers' 34-13 loss to the Seahawks. After the game, he was questioned on it, and the above video shows his response.
Singletary's intensity is unmatched, and I look forward to seeing more of this from him in the future. If this was him after only one game of dealing with this team, I can't wait to see him fly off the handle in a month or two. The 49ers aren't an overly talented team, and it's a safe bet that Coach Singletary will get pretty frustrated at some point. This is only the beginning.
