Milton Bradley is headed to Seattle. Wonder if Cliff Lee approves.

The Seattle Mariners have acquired Chicago Cubs outfielder Milton Bradley.  They shipped off underwhelming pitcher Carlos Silva in order to get Mr. Board Game.  If Cliff Lee was disappointed about his trade to Seattle, he may go into DEFCON-12 after this. Congratulations to the Cubs for getting rid of this buffoon.

If you're a Seattle fan I hope you at least had some Vasoline.

Wow, and here I thought seattle was building an AL West champion contender... then they blow it all up by getting this douche. This is the definition of subtraction by addition.

Mighty optimistic of you.  The late inning guys need to stop walking hitters, Everyone needs to stay healthy, They need a center fielder, a leadoff guy, a bench, a surprise success story, and a whole lot of pure unadulterated LUCKI!  Just don't see it as something being possible.

Glad Milton is gone.  Still can't believe Seattle paid the Cubs and extra $6 million to take Silva.  I'm hoping this is a classic case of  "change of scenery."  Bradley can take his .250 BA and his 40 RBI's elsewhere.

Jack Zduriencik... Seattle's GM.  Also, spell check on his last name suggests "strings".

Big Z as in Carlos Zambrano?

I am very glad he is not a Ray. (beathes a sigh of relief.) We had enough drama with Delmon Young.

The Mariners are building a solid structure to compete in the AL West, with the acquisitions of Figgins and Lee, but yet are packing the basement with dynamite, old newspapers and oily rags with the addition of Milton.

This trade actually favors the Mariners. Bradley for all his bad behavior has serious upside. Carlos Silva's talent ceiling is knee-high at best. He is useless.

Bad for bad. Guess if the winner would be who gets their player to actually PLAY some meaningful baseball next season. Silva's Mr. Injured and Bradley's Mr. Suspended.

Glad Bradley is gone..but Silva stinks out loud

I am glad that Bradley didn't come to Toronto in the Halladay deal.  Looks like the new GM has a bit more sense than J.P. (5 year plan over 8 years that still isn't complete) Ricciardi had.

Thank god I though the day would never come. I don't care if we traded for Mahoney , just glad that donkey is gone.

Milton Bradley's epic douchebaggery gives him a slight edge over Carloss Silva.

Silva isn't exactly an intelligent or nice man himself, just being he's been in Minnesota and Seattle his career, you probably haven't heard much about it.

Color me excited.  Milton Bradley was a disaster in Chicago and by disaster I mean....

-Didn't know how many outs there were half the time.
-A grown man that cries for his mother?  Seriously?
-Couldn't handle playing in a major market.
-$10 million for .257 BA, 12Hr, and 40 RBI's?  No thanks.
-Hated almost as much as Steve Bartman
-Was suspended the last 20 games of the season and his teammates were FINE with it.  That should tell you everything you need to know.

Did I mention he'll now have been on 7 teams in 9 seasons?  I would have taken a bag of balls for him.

Brewers fan, you can get excited all you want, but as bad as the Cubs are, your team is worse.

As a Brewers fan, I am beyond excited about this deal. Cubs add a horrible pitcher signed to a horrible deal? Awesome!
