Blog Photo - Rudy Gay Trade Rejected
The Memphis Grizzlies have not been shy about shopping Rudy Gay around.  The athletic small forward is making $16.5 million this season and is on contract for another $37.2 million for two more years.
Gay’s name has been thrown around for players such as Jared Dudley, Tyreke Evans, and most recently, Kevin Love or Nikola Pekovic.
However, Minnesota's GM, David Kahn did not even entertain the offer for Love or Pekovic.  Despite Love missing the next 8-10 weeks, even the erratic Kahn is no hurry to trade for a pricey player such as Rudy Gay.  From the Grizzlies perspective, the franchise is desperately trying to avoid the luxury tax this year, but they may not find any suitors for the hefty price tag of Rudy Gay.
